「nook」という言葉には、“小さな隅”や“居心地のよい小さな場所”という意味がある。

本作では、その言葉をひとつのテーマとして、日常の片隅にある感情や記憶を5つの楽曲に切り取った。

恋をしているときの浮遊感や、誰かを想う気持ち、何気ない朝の空気、ひとりの夜に訪れる寂しさ、

過去の記憶。『nook』に収められた5曲は、それぞれ異なる景色を持ちながら、どこか同じ場所から生まれている。

それは、誰にも見せるためではない、自分だけの小さな居場所。
『nook』は、ruca自身が日々の中で拾い集めてきた感情をそっと並べた、小さな部屋のような作品だ。

聴く人にとっても、その中に自分自身の記憶や感情を重ねられるような、そんな居場所になればという思いが込められている。

Taking this idea as its central theme, ruca’s new project captures the emotions and memories found in the overlooked corners of everyday life, unfolding across five songs.

The weightless feeling of being in love, the tenderness of thinking about someone, the atmosphere of an ordinary morning, the loneliness that arrives in the stillness of night, and memories of the past—each track on nook holds a different scene, yet they all seem to emerge from the same intimate place.

It is a private space that exists for no one else: a small refuge of one’s own.

nook is like a tiny room where ruca has gently placed the emotions she has gathered from her daily life. Through this project, she hopes it can also become a comforting place for listeners—a space where they can reconnect with their own memories and emotions.
